parmesan baked pork chops

So as most of you know, I am not the best cook around. I love getting in the kitchen and trying out some of my fancy talent. I found a recipe for Parmesan Baked Pork Chops. I knew I had everything in the house to make these good sounding pork chops. The original recipe called for boneless pork chops. I have these big bone in pork chops. I have been sick so I used what I had in my home.

99% of the time I find awesome recipes I do not always have everything on hand. I was so happy to have everything without having to make a trip to the store. You know what going to the store means right? That means I always spend more money on this or that. My pork chops also look a little white, I should have turned on broil for a few minutes and brown the pork chops a little more. I  am learning as I go 🙂 .

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops— I used bone in, they did not turn out as well as I would have liked.
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Combine all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix together good. Rub olive oil on the boneless pork chops and dip into the dry ingredients. Press the mixture on the pork chops good. Put foil at the bottom of the pan and spray with cooking oil. Place the pork chops on the foil and bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

I served the pork chops with steamed cauliflower with cheese. This meal was very simple and was extremely tasty. I will make sure the next time I make Parmesan Baked Pork Chops I will use boneless pork chops.

I am going to try a new meal each week if possible. We get so tired of eating the same thing each and every week. I may try a new dessert, crock pot meal, lunch or even a dinner. Keep a eye out and make sure to join our recipe group.

Do you try a new meal often?
