I have never made home made lasagna before. I have always bought the frozen lasagna. I must say I love the home made a lot better. I do not think I will ever purchase another frozen lasagna again. This is a easy and very simple recipe. If you have a Ninja Mc703 Multi Cooker 3 in 1 Cooking System you can do one pot cooking. If not a slow cooker will be fine to use also. I used my Ninja to make this lasagna.

Lasagna Recipe:

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 large jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1 onion
1 green pepper
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large container of small curd cottage cheese
1 small container ricotta cheese
15 uncooked lasagna noodles

Directions: In skillet or Ninja on Stove top (high), cook meat and drain. Cook onion and pepper. Add sauce. In bowl mix cheeses and parsley. In slow cooker or Ninja, add 1 cup sauce. 5 noodles (break to fit), add 1/3 of cheese. Top with more sauce 5 more noodles and more cheese. Last layer of sauce, noodles and ending with cheese. Cook on low 4-5 hours.

If you are pressed for time and want to cook in the oven boil the lasagna noodles until they are half way done. Follow all the above steps but cook in the oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
