My husband and I went and toured Fayetteville, North Carolina a few weeks ago. We dined at a few restaurants and I would love to high light some of our favorites. When you are on vacation make sure to find out where the locals are eating. Check out some of the local owned businesses. I don’t have anything against corporate companies but these types of restaurants is not something you may or may not be able to try in your home town.

Comments

  1. I totally agree with these choices. With the exception of Scrubb Oaks, I have dined at each of the other restaurants and agree that the food, service, and ambiance are excellent.

  2. Mary Lou Edge says:

    You got it right!! The food, service and atmosphere at Luigi’s is unmatched even when compared to restaurants in larger, seemingly more sophisticated cities.

  3. What about Morgan’s Chop House??? Very surprised you chose the Mash House over Morgan’s.

  4. I live in a mecca of Thai food (Montreal) and think the papaya salad at Fayetteville’s Thai Pepper restaurant is the best I’ve ever tasted. Their panang curry is also delicious;

  5. Overlooking Morgan’s Chop House was a mistake and Circa 1800 certainly deserved a mention. And, most locals would agree that Pierro’s doesn’t belong on the same list as Luigi’s.

  6. Tammy Roberts says:

    I’ve lived here for 48 yrs and have eaten at all of them multiple times. All of your chooses are great, however you need to try Chris’s Steakhouse when you can it is by far the best steakhouse in Fayetteville NC. Atmosphere is unbelievable and Donovan Vos is the best Server.
